Last updated: October 23, 2026

IGS Granite (“we”, “us”) supplies natural stone and quartz slabs and fabricates countertops from our showroom and warehouse in Birmingham, Alabama. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit igsgranite.com, call us, chat with us or request a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact, estimate or appointment form, call, text or email us, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, project address or town, and details about your project. You may also send photos, plans or measurements.

Live chat. If you use the chat window on our website, the chat provider records your messages and the contact details you give so our team can reply.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers collect technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page or ad that brought you here, and approximate location (city level). Our forms also record the page you came from so we know which of our marketing is working. We use cookies and similar technologies for this.

Design tools. Our kitchen, bathroom and edge visualizers run in your browser. We do not ask for or store personal information when you use them.

How we use your information

  • To answer your questions and prepare estimates and quotes.
  • To schedule consultations, measurements, installations and other appointments.
  • To communicate with you about your project and follow up on our work.
  • To understand how visitors use our website and improve it.
  • To measure and improve our advertising, for example to learn which searches or ads led to a call or a request.
  • To protect our website and our business from spam, fraud and abuse, and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website. If we advertise online, we may use Google Ads to measure when a visit leads to a call or form submission. These services may set cookies or use similar technologies to recognize your browser and count visits.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the website, such as forms and chat, may not work properly without them.

Service providers we use

We share information only with companies that help us run our website and business, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include:

  • Cloudways (website hosting), Cloudflare (security, speed and the Turnstile spam check on our forms) and Wordfence (website security).
  • Google (Analytics and Business Profile).
  • SendGrid (Twilio), which delivers our form submissions and website emails.
  • Live chat: ApexChat (Blazeo), the chat window on our website.
  • Our website and marketing agency, SearchTrafficNow, which maintains this website and receives copies of form submissions to make sure they are delivered.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business. We do not share your information with other companies for their own marketing.

How long we keep information

We keep estimate requests and customer records for as long as needed to serve you, honor warranties and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is kept according to our analytics settings.

Security

Our website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, a web application firewall and security monitoring, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as bank or card numbers through our forms.

Your choices and rights

  • You can ask us what personal information we have about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
  • You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
  • You can ask us not to use your information for targeted advertising, and you can turn off personalized ads in your Google account.

Depending on the state you live in, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We honor these requests whether or not a law requires it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.

Children

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as our live slab inventory, manufacturers, review sites and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
